SloGeD – nevladna organizacija v javnem interesu

SloGed nevladna organizacija v Javnem interesu

Roller Integrated Continuous Compaction Control (CCC), November 29th, 2018 Vienna, Austria

Vabilo , 40 Years of Roller Integrated Continuous Compaction Control (CCC)
Anniversary Symposium November 29th, 2018 Vienna, Austria

Dear Colleagues,
In 1978 the first CCC system was patented. Since then 40 years have passed, in which not only CCC has been established
in geotechnical engineering worldwide, but has also significantly influenced the development of the rollers to high
tech devices. We would like to review the past four decades together with renowned international experts and take a
look into the future. The anniversary symposium offers a platform for geotechnical engineers from all over the world to
exchange experience and developments in dynamic roller compaction and compaction control.
We cordially invite you to participate in the anniversary symposium covering the following topics:
• Historic overview of roller compaction and Continuous Compaction Control (CCC)
• Continuous Compaction Control – CCC applications and interpretation of measurements
• Field testing methods for compaction control (e.g. static and dynamic plate load test)
• Standardization, QA/QC and design aspects
• Recent and future developments (e.g. compaction equipment, electronics, internet)

14:00 do 15:00 ‘Modern Displacement Monitoring Using Satellite Technologies in Geotechnical Engineering’ Norikazu Shimizu, Yamaguchi University

Summary: Monitoring is important for assessing the stability of structures and for confirming the
validity of the design. In addition, it is also useful for predicting risks, for managing safe operations,
and for reducing project costs. The satellite technologies, GPS and DInSAR, can be applied to monitor
the displacement of the ground and structure surfaces over large areas. This lecture will explain how
such modern technologies work on various geotechnical issues, i.e. landslides, subsidence and dam,
through practical applications.

15:00 odmor

15.30  do 16:30  ‘Slovenske izkušnje pri geodetskem opazovanju geotehničnih objektov’

Klasična geodezija v geotehniki (Dušan Kogoj, Klemen Kregar, Tomaž Ambrožič, Gašper Štebe, Simona Savšek, Aleš Marjetič)
Klasična geodezija omogoča natančno določitev koordinat točk naravnih in grajenih objektov.

TLS v geotehniki (Klemen Kregar, Tilen Urbančič, Dejan Grigillo)
